Joanna Fang is an Emmy award winning Foley artist and sound editor. An alumna of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Joanna fell in love with sound design and Foley during her studies at Tisch and after graduating with honors in 2014, she started apprenticing and performing with Foley artist Leslie Bloome at Alchemy Post Sound in Peekskill, NY. Seven years and hundreds of credits later, Joanna transitioned into game development and has since been hired by Sony Playstation where she co-leads their new Foley department and is their first in-house Foley Artist in over 15 years.
Through her Foley sounds, she has had the privilege of slinging webs as Spider-Man, fighting misogynists in Promising Young Woman, and even crashing a bus for Ira Glass on This American Life. Her Foley art spans across several media from traditional narrative films, documentaries, and television series to triple A games, virtual reality and experimental pieces. In 2016, she was recognized by the Television Academy as the first openly transgender woman of color to win a Primetime Emmy for her Foley and sound editorial work on A&E's Cartel Land.

Katrine Amsler is a Danish composer, musician, producer, instrument builder and sound-artist based in Copenhagen. Amsler has a master's in improvisation and composition from the Music Academy in Malmö, Sweden. As a composer and sound artist she contributes to different types of audio-visual projects, latest as a sound artist working for the danish composer Martin Stig Andersen (Limbo, Inside) on the 2 Wolfenstein games : ”The New Colossus” and ”Youngblood” (Machine Games) and on the highly acclaimed ”Control” by Remedy Entertainment. As a musician and producer she works primarily with experimental electric/acoustic trio Shitney, android cinema orchestra Television Pickup and as a solo artist.

Heather Kirby is a Mastering Engineer and Audio Educator. She owns and operates her studio “Dreamlands Mastering” in Prince Edward County Ontario where she works with artists to complete their creative visions and prepares their music to be unveiled to listeners. Heather found her passion for mastering after a winding freelance career in engineering and mixing for music, film/TV post, and live TV broadcast. A longtime advocate for gender equity in the audio industry, she developed and produced a funded music production workshop event for women, trans and non- binary folks in Toronto called Resampled in 2013. As an educator, Heather has been teaching sound and music production courses to undergraduate and graduate students with X University’s RTA School of Media for the past nine years. Heather is also a musician and member of the bands Ohbijou and Vag Halen.

Ronni Brown is a professional foley artist working on independent and blockbuster films, television shows, and video games at Skywalker Sound in Marin. She has received four Emmy nominations, winning her first award in 2020, and 24 MPSE Golden Reel nominations, winning three times in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Ronni is well known for pushing the boundaries of traditional Foley, breaking common misconceptions and delivering dynamic sounds to support all her projects, big and small. She is passionate about keeping the aesthetic of the women that came before her and supporting other women entering the audio post production industry. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young children.

Becky Pell is a sound engineer with 26 years’ experience in the live music industry. Her mixing credits include Westlife, A-ha, Anastacia, Take That, The War of the Worlds, Muse, Kylie Minogue, Bill Wyman, James Brown, Jennifer Lopez, and Natalie Imbruglia. She has regularly been in charge of monitors on the main stage at the world’s largest festival, Glastonbury, and writes a column for Live Sound International. Becky is also a qualified Yoga Therapist, Holistic Counsellor and Mentor, and between tours she runs yoga retreats. She is the author of ‘Yoga Journey - a Contemporary Guide to a Timeless Tradition’, published worldwide earlier this year. She is training as a touring Mental Health First Aider, and is passionate about making the touring industry more sustainable by taking care of the humans who make it happen.

Kyrsten Mate is an award winning Sound Designer who has worked for Skywalker Sound for 25 years. Her credits include Mulan, The Midnight Sky, Ready Player One, Tomorrowland, Jarhead, and many others. Among the directors she has worked with are Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, Brad Bird, and Walter Murch. In addition, she recently completed the Sound Design for Disneyland’s Batuu: Galaxy’s Edge.

Mollie is a Technical Sales Specialist at DiGiCo, who design and manufacture live digital mixing consoles. She enrolled at the University of Surrey in 2015 where she studied the Tonmeister course in music and sound recording. As part of the course she spent a year as a placement student working at DiGiCo in the R&D department, beta testing new software and products before they were released. After finishing her degree, Mollie returned to DiGiCo full time as a member of the Sales team, providing technical support to the marketing team and the rest of the sales team in the form of technical documentation, customer training and support, and training videos. She also gets involved in the test department when they are busy to help test new products and software.

Rebecca Wilson is an industry veteran, working in live sound for over 25 years. Touring solely as a monitor engineer, except for a brief stint as FOH Engineer for Flemming and John (while out with Ben Folds), she has worked for Sound Image, at Humphrey’s by the Bay and toured with Nanci Griffith, Wilco, The Bangles, and more. Rebecca is based in New York, and after finishing a 15-month project for Tibet House US, the Cultural Center for the Dalai Lama in NYC has moved into the position of head audio engineer for the TED headquarters and TED World Theatre.
