Dana Wachs is a Brooklyn based sound engineer with over 20 years of international touring experience. Between working as a house engineer in venues such as 9:30 Club DC, (le) Poisson Rouge NY, Jazz at Lincoln Center NY, and Tonic NYC, she’s traveled with critically acclaimed artists such as Cat Power, MGMT, Deerhunter, Jon Hopkins, and St. Vincent amongst many others. She started her sound career after her first tour playing bass for Holy Rollers (Dischord Records) and continues to perform and record today under the name Vorhees. She is currently scoring her first feature film.
