Hailed for her impeccable attention to finessing low-end, Jaclyn Sanchez is bringing analog back into the mix. Nicknamed Jackie BOOM by legendary drummer Steve Jordan during a Bettye LaVette session for her energetic, present demeanor, the alias captures her ability to fuse analog depth with pop clarity for a sonic experience that hits like a record. She has worked with music icons including Lauryn Hill, Anderson .Paak, Robert Glasper, and Common. Her credits include a Grammy Award for Album of the Year with Jon Batiste, a Grammy nomination for her work with H.E.R., and a Latin Grammy win with Cultura Profética. Beyond the studio, Jaclyn advocates for community through authentic sharing of personal and professional experience. In 2025, Jaclyn served as Production Manager opening Blue Note Los Angeles, and now runs Casa Lily in the heart of Hollywood today.

Brianna Cofield is an audio engineer and pianist from Long Island, New York. While attending Syracuse University, Brianna gained hands-on experience in record production and live sound engineering. After graduating, she began working in a studio as an assistant, and eventually moved on to live sound engineering full-time. Currently, Brianna works as a live sound engineer at Quantum Sound Systems, a sound company in Montauk. Through the company, she has set up stages and has done install work for places like The Surf Lodge, the Montauk Lighthouse, and other venues in the Hamptons. Brianna has worked as a studio engineer at The Bridge Studio, an A2 engineer at The Apollo Theater in Harlem and the Tilles Center theater, and has been the AV tech at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons for live streams. She now joins us as a new co-host of the SoundGirls Podcast!

Katie Maifeld is a NYC based freelance live audio engineer and music business professional. She has worked on thousands of events for clubs, festivals, and corporate conferences. Prior to these roles, Katie worked for recording studios as an assistant engineer, as an office manager, stage manager for an entertainment company, and was an award winning NPR talk show co-host and producer. She is the new podcast host for Soundgirls Podcast and is actively involved in the NY chapter of AES. Katie relocated from Nashville after nine years to live in her dream city of NYC.

Los Angeles; Sr. Managing Director, Producers & Engineers Wing and Recording Technology, Recording Academy. A former recording engineer, Maureen has worked on GRAMMY winning recordings for artists including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Santana—as well as well as on numerous other projects, including two Billboard Number One Dance songs. She has a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts from California State University, San Francisco, and has taught seminars on the theory and practice of recording for companies including ABC and CBS Television. She has also worked in both artist and studio management, was the longtime Los Angeles editor for Mix magazine, and has published three books related to recording. Her most recent, co-written with its subject, is Al Schmitt on the Record: The Magic Behind the Music, chronicling the life and career of the most awarded recording engineer in history.

Amelia McCloskey has been nominated for many awards, including Music Supervisor Of The Year. She started in the music business as a recording artist, then moved into artist development before becoming a sync agent and finally a music supervisor.
Amount her newly opened Tronto offices; Amelia recently set up ultimatesyncaccess.com to educate and empower those looking to break into the sync world.
Recently projects include supervising a film with Martin Scorsese's daughter, and she has also contracted music with Netflix and a wide array of feature and short films.

Anthony Vanchure is an Emmy-nominated Supervising Sound Editor who has strengthened a variety of projects in television and film with his unique talents and precise creative approach. Most recently, Anthony has been celebrated for his work on Roku’s Weird: The Al Yankovic Story directed by Eric Appel and starring Daniel Radcliffe, which he spearheaded with his regular collaborator Mike James Gallagher. In addition, Anthony earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Sound Editing in Amazon’s
acclaimed documentary Lucy and Desi, directed by Amy Poehler. Anthony is also serving as supervising sound editor on Apple’s upcoming original film Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me, which is set to open AFI Fest 2022.
Mike James Gallagher is an Emmy-nominated sound designer who has elevated many films and television shows with his wide-ranging talents. Mike began his professional sound design career on the short film, Verbatim, which was an official
selection at Sundance Film Festival. He went on to work on Netflix’s 1922, an adaptation of a Stephen King novella, Netflix’s Song Exploder, a series based on the popular podcast, HBO’s Phoenix Rising, and Hulu/FX’s Hysterical. He is also extremely passionate about sound design education, having produced and directed masterclasses for Oscar-winning sound designers Richard King and Mark Mangini.
